Participant statuses are one of the basic and essential configurations in the Trainings module. You can use them to filter, search, group and compare statuses or decide which statuses will be seen as a cost in a given training.
They affect the way the tomHRM application treats information about users:
- Whether a given user is entered on the list.
- Whether attendance to a given training is marked.
- Whether the user has resigned from the training.
You can define training statuses in Settings > Settings > Trainings > Participant statuses.
Every single status is defined by a set of parameters:
- Name
- Color
- Place booked
If you enable this option, registration of a participant with this status will take one of the available places in the training. This option does not result in the budget recalculation. Statuses to be considered for budget calculation are set in a given training together with the rate. - “Resignation” status
You can select only one status of this type. Once the status is selected, the user will be given that status and remain on the participant list after resigning from the training (you can read more about it here). This option does not result in the budget recalculation. Statuses to be considered for budget calculation are set in a given training together with the rate. Read more about the differences between the “Resignation” and “Removed” statuses. - Presence
You can select one status only. If you select this status, the system will treat the participant as present at the training. This status lets you add filters more conveniently and, for instance, create attendance lists and decide which status is to be a training cost. Statuses to be considered for budget calculation are set in a given training together with the rate.
