Company events are part of the News. They allow creating information about different types of events to be attended by employees.
- An event must have its dates specified.
- The sign-up function can be enabled in an event. In such a case, employees can declare their presence, interest in a given event or lack thereof.
- E-mail notification can be enabled in an event. The notification will be sent upon event publication to all employees to which a given event is targeted.
- Every published event is visible in the event calendar (News> Events) and in the list of News in the Events category (News> Newsfeed > Events).
- The administrator can see how many people have seen the Event and how many have signed up for it or are not interested.

If you want to organise an event as to which employees will confirm their attendance and then to make lists of participants and waiting lists, send automatic event notifications to the participants or budget the event costs, feel free to use the Trainings module, which features all of these functions (and many more).
