The rating scale is used across all competency assessments in tomHRM and must be configured before using the 360 Feedback module.
Setting Up Your Rating Scale
Navigate to Settings > Settings > Competences > Rate to define your assessment scale.
Scale Parameters
Each rating level is defined by three elements:
1. Numerical Value
- Format: Whole numbers only
- Purpose: Provides quantitative measurement for analysis and reporting
2. Colour Coding
- Visual identifier for each rating level
- Helps users quickly identify performance levels
3. Description
- Text explanation of what each rating level represents
- Provides clarity for assessors and participants
- Ensures consistency across all evaluations
Implementation Requirements
Configure your rating scale before launching any 360 reviews or competency assessments.
Critical: You can modify the rating scale after initial setup, but this will alter and distort existing assessment results.
